There are a few television shows that have captured my attention over the past 8 years: ‘24′, ‘Battlestar Galactica’, and Heroes. These shows have something in common, the battle between good and evil, and the incorporation of elements of terrorism in the story-lines of all three.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) — At least 900 Christian families have fled Mosul in the past week, terrified by a series of killings and threats by Muslim extremists ordering them to convert to Islam or face possible death, officials said Saturday.
Christians protest in Mosul last month ahead of elections. An official says protests may have led [...]

Please take a moment today to remember the innocent victims of the 9/11 terror attacks, and think of the brave men and women of the various armed forces fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq. Remember, also, those brave men and women that have lost their lives fighting for their countries.

I’d just sat down to peruse the toobs, when I saw this on the BBC News Website:

US Secretary of State, Condoleeza Rice has demanded that Russian forces withdraw from Georgia Immediately
I love this quote by Pres. Bush, who accused Russia of:
Bullying and intimidation…
He then said:
Russia must respect the freedom of its [...]

It seems that former US Attorney General John Ashcroft has come out in defense of waterboarding:
WASHINGTON (CNN) — The controversial interrogation technique of waterboarding has served a “valuable” purpose and does not constitute torture, former Attorney General John Ashcroft told a House committee Thursday.
John Ashcroft says waterboarding yielded more valuable information than other interrogation [...]

I came across this Japanese Manga depiction of the attack on Hiroshima the other day. It is a very moving AND extremely graphic and disturbing depiction of the nuclear attack on Hiroshima. It is also a very accurate depiction of what would happen. This was written and lived through by a survivor.
PLEASE be warned that [...]

Earlier today, America’s favorite neo-con, nazi, Bushie, Glenn Beck stated that if he were President, he would shoot all terror suspects in the head. This without the benefit of a fair trial. He would do this is he thought they were against us. Wow… just wow. And this person is given a national voice on [...]
